Project |01 Urban Design Competition
​

[1] Jatinegara, Jakarta (2005)

Revitalisation project in East Jakarta to bring back the importance of the precint. The idea proposes a concept to integrate the transportation hub (railway station) with a number of traditional and modern marketplace nearby.

 

[2] Batam City (2008)

The project attempts to revitalise the city centre by bringing back the importance of local architecture. The concept offers redefinition of some activities to capture visitors from Singapore through its renew sea ports.

Project |02 West Sumatra Grand Mosque (2007)
​

This project is an entry for a design competition of a grand mosque. The idea propose an intepretation of traditional Minangkabau architecture into a more contemporary look. It also combines the concept of Islamic architecture into its local environment.

Project |03 Musi Rawas Grand Mosque (2008)
​

This project presents another entry for a grand mosque design competition in South Sumatera. The concept challenges the use of simple geometric configuration but in an advance structure. The design presents a maximum use of daylight and natural ventilation to response to tropical climate.

Project |04 Urban Planning Projects (2008)
 
These two projects present example of urban planning projects. The projects focus on how Lubuklinggau Timur I and II (South Sumatera) is developing the region into agricultural urban environment. The project in these two region incoorporate new transportation system development, including a new local airport and ring roads.

Project |05 Landscape and Park Design
​

[1] Gembiraloka Zoo

The design supports the idea to revitalise some of the zoo facilities. It proposes some new attractions such as bicycle track, banana plantation and research centre, souvenir shops, and so on. 

 

[2] Gabusan Art Centre

Gabusan Art Centre is a new prominent souvenir marketplace in Yogyakarta. The design provides an illustration support for environmental assessment of extention project with an addition of water park.

Project |06 Bamboo Gazebo (2014)
​

The design was a part of a charity project in collaboration with Bambuboss (Bamboo Architecture Specialist), Shalsabilla Nursery and School, and Asia Pacific Research Centre (UGM). The house provides a vocal point of the school as well as a multifunctional space for children to play and learn. Also, it provides a more sociable space for the school management to run some activities.

Project |07 House Design (2014)
​

This page presents two example of home designed consultation published in a local newspapers. The first design proposes an extention to provide a small kitchen and dining area along with a small garden. The second design gives an idea of a liveable space upstair, while a commercial space takes place the ground floor.

Project |08 Museum (2014)
​

The design presents an entry for a museum design competition in Pacitan, a coastal area in East Java. The design captures the surrounding environment into its concepts. It is inspired by some elements commonly exist along the coast such as boat, wind, trees, water, and so on. It provides not only space for the collection, but also it address some leisure activities, outdoor and indoor. It is not only a museum but a multifunctional new visitor attraction.

Project |09 House Renovation (2015)
​

This house design presents an idea of redevelopment of a two-storeys house owned by a family in Bandar Lampung. The idea begins with the concept of simplicity in term of form and function, and partly related to the issue of maintenance. It uses neutral colour scheme dominated by white and grey with some colourful accent.
