[1] Design Studio 01: Architectural Sketches (1993)

The first row presents four examples of on-site architectural sketches. It was a part of early year drawing exercise.

The design employes triangular configuration into a villa house. It plays around with the use of challenging corner shape.

 

[3] Design Studio 03 (1994)

This two floors building provides space for a stationary and book store. It includes the design of interior.

[1] Design Studio 4: Bank (1995)

The project focuses on the influence of surrounding environment context into its concept design.

 

[2] Design Studio 5: Student Accomodation (1995)

The design adopts traditional architecture shapes into new multistoreys building. The challenge begins with the building system and utility.

 

[3] Design Studio 6: Superblock (1995)

The project addresses three differents activities into a single space. The concept attempts to connect shopping mall, rental office, and apartment with an internal garden as a green anchor.

[1] Design Studio 7: Shopping Street (1996)

The design project proposes an idea of shopping street facade, configuration, and activities in an existing traditional heritage precint. 

 

[2] Design Studio 8: Railway Station (1996)

The design exercise explore the possibility of redesigning an existing railway station using Tadao Ando's approach, particularly in working on the shapes and use material.

Design Studio | 09: Final Project
 

The final project focuses on designing an international scale swimming stadium to complement an existing sport complex in Manahan, Solo. The concept attempts to address the main activity inside the stadium as well as providing outdoor leisure space. The main stadium utilises an advance roof which can be opened and closed depending on the weather.
